Summary We’re looking for someone to work along one of the most beautiful stetches of coast in the country, to help maintain our properties on the North Norfolk Coast to a high standard.

You'll be required to work weekends and bank holidays. Your work pattern is likely to be Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, 5 hours each day. Exact work hours will need to be slightly flexible, as tides affect access to Brancaster Beach.

What it's like to work here The places we care for on the North Norfolk Coast are some of the most beautiful and wildlife-rich in the country. They include Morston Quay, Brancaster Beach and Brancaster Staithe Harbour - all of which are also very popular withour visitors throughout the summer. These places require regular management and maintenance to ensure that they meet the high standards we expect of National Trust properties. What you'll be doing As part of our facilities management team, you'll work withour Countryside and Visitor Experience Teams to keep our facilities working and our places looking their best, to give our visitors an enjoyable experience. This will include carrying out and arranging maintenance and repairs, waste management, site presentationwork and some practical nature conservation.Although based at Brancaster, you'll work across all our coastal sites, including Morston Quay, Branodunum and Blakeney National Nature Reserve.

You'll report to the Facilities Manager but will work closely with the Area Ranger at Brancaster, supporting their work and covering their days off.Who we're looking for You'll need to have the following experience:

- Practical experience in delivering high standards of maintenance and presentation in a high volume visitor location
- Familiarity with building and equipment maintenance and the ability to carry out minor repairs using hand tools
- Someone always thinking about how visitors are experiencing our properties
- Good people skills enabling strong relationships externally and internally to be built and maintained
- Someone who'll work safety and efficiently to meet high standards of compliance
- A real team player, who can work well with a variety of colleagues
- A ‘can-do’ attitude - getting stuff done with pace and energy
- Well-organised, able to balance competing priorities and demands
- Full Driving license
