**Business Development Associate**

This is a new role within a small sales team and will be responsible for promoting our client’s titles to higher education institutions across the UK and EMEA region as well as maintaining the strong base of existing business whilst developing new relationshipsand customers.

The Business Development Associate will work within the wider EMEA sales team, as both an account manager for their own institutions as well as supporting the team on key accounts through customer follow-up and campaigns.

This role will be desk-based prospecting as well as travelling to campuses and conferences in the EMEA region and so the ideal person must be happy to travel as required which will potentially equate to 12 weeks in each year away on business.

**Business Development Associate Responsibilities**

As the Business Development Associate some of your duties will include:

- Maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Promoting new platforms
- Identifying selling opportunities
- Developing new customers
- Executing sales plans
- Researching new markets
- Attending events and conferenced
- Reporting

**Location**

Based in Wiltshire, SN8, in lovely modern office space with onsite parking available.

Flexible working with 2 days a week in the office and the rest working remotely.

The ideal person must be happy to travel as required which will potentially equate to 12 weeks in each year away on business.
