Administration Officer - Single Point of Access

We are looking to recruit an _Administration Officer to work in our Single Point of Access (SPA) Team_ as part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), based at 48 Lodge Road, West Bromwich. You will provide an efficient and confidential service, ensuring the professional image of the department is maintained at all times.
The role will encompass dealing with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff by telephone and face to face; subsequently you will require excellent communications skills. A flexible approach to this role is essential to ensure the demands of the department are met.
**Main duties of the job**
The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support across various disciplines/services to enable them to function effectively.
As part of the team you will be registering patients onto the Trust computer system (Rio) whereby accuracy is essential.
You should have a good standard of general education and have attained or be working the ECDL qualification or equivalent. You will also require a clear understanding of the concept of confidentiality of personal health information.

Good standard of education / 5 GCSE’s or equivalent qualification Word processing / typing at RSA/OCR Level II (or equivalent) GCSE English (Grade A-C) Evidence of continued development or training
