It will be moving from job to job throughout the day/week predominantly on a reactive basis. You will have several multi traders/ painters/ labourers under your supervision. You will be expected to be hands on certain jobs, depending on the work load, leading the way in completing good quality work. You will be liaising closely with the office repairs co-ordinator, undertaking planned and re active maintenance works as the jobs come through. This is a very good role, playing a very important role, with plenty of responsibility and career progression. **The Person** You will need to have all road "multi trade" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work: - Preparing vacant rooms as they become vacant - Painting & decorating - Basic plumbing duties - Laying new laminate - Fixing/ replacing locks - Basic electrics - Patch Plastering - General carpentry - Paint and decorating - Tiling - General handyman skills **Day to Day work will include**: - Inspecting void properties and delegating and organising multi trader workmen to undertake works. - Co-Ordinating works for several voids properties, on a daily basis. - Signing off works undertaken, ensuring company standards have been met. - Providing out of hours emergency cover on a rota system, dealing with emergency calls as appropriate **Applicants must**: - Enjoy quite varied work - Be able to think on their feet and problem solve - Be a team player with good communication skills - Be happy to work alone - Have good organisational skills - Have Good Time management - Fluent in English - Hard working - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade - You must possess good all round multi-trading skills - Own tools required - Good customer service skills - Full UK driving license Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm; overtime available on weekends and after hours Work phone and fuel card available to undertake the role. Ideally the role is for immediate start or ASAP. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - North London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Maintenance: 5 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
