We have a fantastic opportunity for a Content Lead to join an established and reputable organisation, Make UK. You will be within our busy Digital team delivering usability improvements across content and tools on the Make UK website. You'll be supporting the UX Manager in updating and upgrading the current website content using our Sitecore CMS.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- You will be building pages and uploading content to ensure we deliver a high standard of content and digital products across our website on a regular basis. This will include project work as well as the continuous improvement and BAU tasks
- You will be working from wireframes and prototypes for key areas of the Make UK website based on what our business and our users need
- Using data and insight, you'll test new designs our UX Manager delivers to ensure best in class UX and as high as possible ROI from our digital content
- Supporting a wide variety of projects across the organisation, you'll be the go-to person for the uploading new content to our website and you will support the team on best practice UX and design
- Communicating proactively with stakeholders on all levels is a key part of this role and so your ability to hold your ground, win over sceptics and educate positively our non-digital stakeholders is crucial as is taking responsibility for your projects and communications relating to them
- Working to deadlines and taking accountability for delivery is essential as the team is very busy and project management knowledge is required for a person coming into the team.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Passionate about UX and familiar with the best practice UX design and testing and able to share your expertise with other teams. You should have a background in design and some experience of digital
- You have experience of working with CMS platforms and a comfort zone around basic coding and a willingness to learn in this area and to become the secondary expert in our CMS, building a library of training material and videos to ensure the team can gain from your learning
- You'll be confident using data and insight to inform design decisions so that users of the website stay for longer on the website, learn more about the work of Make UK
- You have a desire to be part of a digital team, happy to work with a mixed-discipline digital team and keen to learn about the ways in which UX fits into the wider digital landscape of an organisation
- Your ability to communicate and manage demanding stakeholders, who need to be heard, educated, and responded to is crucial
- Working in a team environment whilst showing the ability to drive your own project forward with strong collaborative traits
- A proactive approach to project management and problem solving is fundamental to succeeding in this role
- You’re someone who is excited by the opportunity to increase not only your experience and skills, but to add to how this team influences, educates, and supports the business
- Currently or recently pursuing/ pursued a qualification in UX, graphic design, human-computer interaction, or related field
- Experience in/ or at the very least awareness of design and digital tools (e.g.: CMS, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Miro (or similar), etc)
