We are currently looking for a FULL TIME Front of House Supervisor to join the team at our lovely countryside Inn based near Andover in Faccombe. Experience is necessary & you must be able to drive to us.

The Jack Russell remains at the hub of the community and offers a seasonally focused menu using the very best fresh ingredients sourced from the surrounding Faccombe Estate and farmland alongside real ales, fine wines and cigars.

Overview of the role
- Using your personality and communications skills to serve customers, meet and exceed their expectations. You will also be showing a willingness to learn about the hospitality industry and being a great team player
- Be a role model to your team and ensure punctuality and perfect presentation every customer, every time.
- To go out of your way to exceed guest expectations, delivering exceptional standards of service - asking for help where needed
- Follow company procedure on stock and cash handling
- Ensure you are alert to maximising department revenue through upselling and correct posting/revenue capture. Achieved through focused customer care. Generate ideas to improve sales on the site.
- To engage with guests, monitor, act on feedback. To champion guest interaction and ensure they remain at the heart of everything we do.
- To grow opportunities to engage with the locals and volunteer ideas as to how service could be improved at your site.

**We're looking for Supervisors who have**:

- Previous experience at management level for a minimum of 1 year in a premium full-service gastro / 1 rosette establishment
- Excellent food & drink knowledge
- An understanding of countryside hotels/pubs/restaurants
- Good understanding of the importance of financial targets and how we can achieve them
- Familiarity with sales and marketing plans
- Competent and organised in handling bedroom and function / event enquiries and bookings
