**Supervisor - Extra Care Scheme**

This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career with a well-established, highly respected and expanding provider of domiciliary health and social care services across the South in one of our beautiful extra care housing schemes. We are looking for a Supervisor who shares our passion and enthusiasm to join our team in Andover on a full-time, permanent basis.

- Able to work under own initiative
- Supervise and support staff to deliver the highest possible standards of care
- Liaise with GP’s, Pharmacies and relatives and any other stakeholders as required
- Implement training
- Carry out supervision using a variety of methods (including, face to face shadowing, telephone and spot-checking)
- Act as a Senior carer as required
- Basic IT skills
- Attend meetings with Social Services/local authorities/family as required
- Conduct audits of log books and medication administration records
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are maintained and always up-to-date
- Work as part of an on-call team as required
- Demonstrate a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changing priorities
- Implement quality control procedures
- Maintain accurate record keeping, documentation and paperwork processes
- Prepare reports as required
- Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues
- At all times set good standards and lead by example
- Be familiar with all relevant company policies and keep up to date with any relevant changes to policy or procedure
- To act in the best interests of the company at all times
- Full support from the very beginning ensuring you are fully trained, competent, and confident
- Mileage is paid at 40p per mile
