**Payroll Administrator**
We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis for our Erdington, Birmingham based client. This design led and fashion forward retailer is looking for you to assist the Payroll Manager with the full end to end payroll process. In addition,you will be required to provide administrative support to the HR team as and when required.
**As a Payroll Administrator, you will need to have/be**:
- Previous experience of working within a HR/payroll environment
- Understanding of Statutory Payments and RTI (Real Time Information) processes
- Confident user of MS office package
- Attention to detail
- Up to date knowledge of current legislation
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
**Details**:
- Salary: £21, 000 - £26, 000
- Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
- Location: Erdington, Birmingham
- Duration: Permanent
**Role of a Payroll Administrator**:
- Issuing offer packs, i.e. offer letters and contracts of employment
- Processing new starter packs received from both the stores and Head Office
- Ensure right to work documents and visas are received and up to date
- Creation of new starters to the business, processing P45s and new starter checklists
- Processing leaver details
- Preparing letters for formal contractual changes as required
- Capturing and recording data for the employee time and attendance system
- Managing the absence recording system (holidays, sickness, absence etc.)
- Process timesheets in an accurate and timely manner
- Creating and exporting reports (must be comfortable using VLOOKUP's)
- Assist with the administration of the Company Auto Enrolment pension scheme
