Payroll Assistant

Birmingham, United Kingdom Advanced Payroll Solution Full time

Retrieving and preparing all timesheets received from clients

Independently processing weekly payroll for 600-900 contractors

Independently processing 4-weekly and monthly payroll

Ensuring all HMRC submissions are made punctually (on a weekly and monthly basis);
Submitting monthly returns for CIS subcontractors

Compiling data and preparing reports for clients (e.g. Intermediary Reports)

Reporting all payroll figures to company director on weekly basis

Issuing and sending out payslips and deduction statements to contractors

Producing and preparing BACS files

Ensuring all contractors are paid in a timely manner

Regularly updating payroll records

Undertaking all year-end processes (e.g. Producing and sending out P60’s)

Dealing with client and contractor queries

General administration duties (upon return to the office)

Part-time hours: 24 per week
