We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR & Recruitment Assistant to join our established team based at Timpson House, Wythenshawe.
In this fast-paced role you will work with our wider HR team of Advisors to manage all aspects of administrative support and recruitment for the areas of the Group including Timpson, Max Spielmann, MOJO, Watch Lab, Flock Inns and Timpson Direct across the UK & Ireland.

**Day to day youll be**:
**HR Administration**:
- The first point of contact for all HR administrative, recruitment and reporting queries into the department. This fast paced role supports the business by providing a highly effective and efficient administrative support in a range of areas throughout a colleagues career lifecycle including recruitment, sickness absence, maternity / paternity, contract issue and changes, development and promotions, annual reviews and ad-hoc generalist support work.
- Provide colleagues with general advice and support signposting onwards as appropriate for more complex queries.
- Responsible for the support & career inboxes ensuring queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all personal data is processed confidentially and in line with GDPR regulations
- Diarise, run and manage the process of the departments monthly/weekly reports inclusive of probationary periods, (prepare data and notify managers of probationary period end dates, requesting confirmation on end date or extension). Birthday report, annual reviews, new starters and leavers and other benefits issuing the relevant correspondence to colleagues and managers in line with deadlines.
- To make a substantial and significant team contribution to the department in order to ensure the quality of the service is maintained and developed to meet the needs of the organisation.
- To be familiar with company policy, procedures and practices to offer accurate advice and support.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects.
**Recruitment Support**:
- Responsible for the recruitment administration for the Timpson Group having a national understanding of the recruitment needs within the business to best support our Area Managers and Department Heads.
- Through effective communication with the Area Teams identify new and up and coming vacancies within the business and support in offering the most appropriate recruitment source to fill a position e.g job centre, military, foundation
- Maintain the group vacancy report and changes list ensuring accuracy at all times and distribute accordingly.
- Create and maintain reports / stats as required.
- Build effective relationships with relevant contacts, suppliers and account managers.
