We are recruiting for **Service Desk **in our NHS client in Chester.

Job Summary:
The primary functions of this post will be to receive incoming telephone calls and to accurately log and record these calls within a help desk management system whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
The postholder will assist in resolving basing IT issues and provide helpdesk system support to end users, working closely with all the IM&T teams and the customer in the progression and resolution of system calls.

**Key responsibilities**:
1. To provide an effective, responsible and user-friendly first line telephone support function.
2. To follow-up on calls where there is no evidence of satisfactory progress to resolution, to seek explanations for any delay on calls.
3. To demonstrate competence with issue resolution and problem solving.
4. To deliver a high standard of customer service.
5. General systems administration duties including, creating new passwords, changing existing passwords.
6. Produce and maintain necessary support and reference documentation to support all of the above activities.
7. To run daily report checks and action in accordance with Departmental procedures.
8. To produce relevant documentation with regards to the transfer of support calls to workload.

**Start ASAP for 5 weeks with £10/h**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 5 weeks

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
