**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm OR 7:00 am - 4:30 pm with 30 mins lunch
Working 1 in 5 Saturday mornings (although people will be happy to swap with you if you needed to)
**About the Company**:
Our client is a leading seller of new and used trucks and also provides truck/lorry mounted crane rental services. They have a network of strategically positioned depots across the UK with their head office based just outside Glasgow; as the newly appointedRental Administration Assistant you will be working from their depot in St Helens.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is from the motor or plant industry (rental or sales) to work for a successful company in a stand-alone role. We are happy to look at someone at a Rental Assistant level or someone slightly more senior, at thehigher end of the advertised salary bracket, as there is room to grow and develop. You will be given full training if you are not from an HGV background but you will be required to show a keen interest in learning and be efficient in doing so.
**About the Person**:
We are looking for someone with positive 'can-do’ attitude and a good sense of humour. You must be full of enthusiasm and have exceptional attention to detail, as well as having a strong desire to learn, and communicate positively with customers and colleaguesalike. Teamwork within the admin office / depot is paramount and you must be able to mix and communicate with a wide variety of people, from all walks of life. You will have the ability and experience to manage multi-tasking with ease, maintaining complexschedules and managing a variety of administrative support duties, to deadlines (and enjoy working under a degree of pressure) A good understanding of IT will be required but full training on the in-house system will be given.
**About the Rental Administration Assistant Role**:
- Verifying vehicle availability, updating reservation systems, confirming bookings and assisting with planning our delivery driver team. Extending and closing rental agreements.
- Monitoring damage management and vehicle turnaround
- Ensuring correct billing and allocation of additional charges. Notifying customers of damage and following the rechargeable damage process.
- Collating compliance materials and rental packs for customers.
- Raising rental and contract hire invoices for billing. Regular liaison with our Credit and Finance Departments.
- Liaising with maintenance and sales teams to ensure swift action is taken and expectations and managed.
- Liaising with staff at all levels at various locations and departments
