Coffee Shop Assistant

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order totals.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu items is essential.

Pay: £11.44-£13.16 per hour
