**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well-established player in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry with a global footprint. - Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, validating credit notes and supplier payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Participate in financial audits and assist in audit preparation.
- Regular supplier reconciliations and payment runs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Proactively investigation day-to-day queries and resolve promptly.
- Handle queries and build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is maintained and retained in line with the company guidelines.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Finance Assistant/AP should have:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and over 1 year of AP experience.
- Experience across multiple entities with multi-currency accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using financial software such as SAGE 300 and MS Office Suite, with intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience within the travel and tourism industry is desirable.
