- We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Planner to within our pre-construction function within the Energy business unit_

**_ The role_**

As a Planner working in the Pre-Construction Team you will develop Substation, Overhead Line and Underground Cabling programmes at tender stage within P6 software and with the potential to retain these projects post-award for duration of project lifecycle.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_

- Creation and updating of P6 HV substation programmes.

- Providing a range of project control services including assistance with the establishment of systems, implementing planning controls, scheduling and prioritisation, monitoring and reporting and dashboard reporting.

- Responsible for schedule management and earned value management.

- Interact with clients and colleagues to achieve project objectives.

In addition you will:

- Have a comprehensive understanding of project control methodologies and associated systems such as Primavera P6, MSP and other systems.

- Have a comprehensive understanding of commercial process (Early Warning’s, Compensation Event’s, Extension of Time Entitlement).

- Able to manage multiple projects and conflicting deadlines

- Able to work autonomously and/or as part of a project team Travel and undertake site visits as required.

- Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services._
