**Transport Planner**

Pay Rate: £11.00 p/h

Location: Coventry

Type: Temporary ongoing

Logic 360 is currently recruiting for a transport planner for one of our major clients in the Coventry area.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Organise the day-to-day planning and running of the fleet vehicles
- Understanding and comply with the customers' requirements and maintaining a very high service level.
- Ensure all movements are completed to the customer's satisfaction.
- Minimising journey cost and overall delivery costs.
- Dealing with all hauliers in respect of allocating work for delivery and collection.
- Utilising computerised system to input jobs for customers and dispatching to drivers/hauliers.
- Liaising with the workshop manager with reference to breakdowns and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Updating and maintaining online portals to meet customer requirements.
- Time-effective communications with clients, sales departments, or other Company units in case of delays or problems with collections or deliveries.
- At least 1-2 years in a similar role
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
- Excellent communication & analytical skills
- Good attention to detail
