**In a nutshell**
As a Planner, you will manage Clothing product bookings into our UK depots from international and domestic suppliers, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The role requires a strong emphasis on data excellence, ability to react quickly to change whilst hitting deadlines as well as work alongside key stakeholders such as logistic teams and Clothing senior planners to optimise product bookings.
**What you need to do**
Ÿ Ensure initial bookings are made in line within agreed time frames and according to warehouse capacities, taking proactive action where volume exceeds capacity
Ÿ React swiftly to business demands and external factors requiring the need to reprioritize flow of goods
Ÿ Update planning systems and other related systems with relevant changes as and when required
Ÿ Completion of data integrity tasks to ensure data product flows correctly through the network
Ÿ Influence Trading teams to create and maintain best practice and drive data integrity excellence
Ÿ Work alongside Senior Planner to maximize DC capacities and ensure priorities are met
Ÿ Problem solve and support receipting queries from stakeholders across the business in a timely manner
Ÿ Continuous review and development of current processes to streamline planning workload
**What you need to know and show**
- Knowledge of Logistic/Supply chain Operations, in particular our non-food operation
- Ability to understand processes & systems associated with bookings
- Must have strong Microsoft skills, mainly Excel and have strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate experience in problem solving skills and have a common sense approach
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to be able to cope with changing demands in work activity
- Self-motivated and drives development, both professionally and personally
- Confident in communicating and internally and externally, providing a tailored customer service
- Be able to work both in a team and independently with little to no supervision at times
