To support the co-ordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the consultant, medical and nursing team. To work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved. To support the facilitation of the patients along a defined pathway.

Working as part of a team the post holder will be required to provide an efficient and effective secretarial service to the team, supporting the delivery of a high quality service to patients and staff.

Applicants must be extremely flexible to meet the needs of the service, and have a positive approach to their work. Applicants must also have a good standard of education, be adaptable and have good organisational skills.

Sufficient medical secretarial experience and knowledge of the Patient Administration System (WPAS) is essential.

This post is fixed term for 12 months for maternity cover.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
