**To provide Trauma and Orthopaedic Services**: Trauma and selected high risk elective services are based at the base hospital at Glan Clwyd Hospital and consists of Trauma Clinics and Trauma & Elective Theatre sessions.
Elective Orthopaedics is at present based at Abergele Hospital, Abergele approximately 6 miles from the main hospital base. Clinics are held at several Community Hospitals.
The Orthopaedic services at Abergele Hospital consist of elective theatre sessions and other elective services related activities. However, it is expected that there would be gradual transfer of elective services to the base hospital in the future.
