Finance Manager

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a Social Housing organisation on the outskirts of York.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant/QBE with experience of managing a team and reporting to the FD your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Financial analysis
Managing the year end rents ledger
Dealing with suppliers and assisting with queries
Being the key contact for the internal and external auditors
Overseeing and supporting the transactional finance teaM/Finance officers
Assisting with the completion of annual financial returns
Taking the lead on agreeing monthly intercompany debtor/ creditor balances
Business Partnering the Administration team
Ad hoc project work
**Requirements**:
Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA / QBE
Experience of managing a team
Strong IT skills, including Excel
Good communication skills
