This role is the backbone of raising the vital funds we need at the organisation. You will need to be a champion for the British Red Cross for our external partners, potential volunteers, and the public. You will have the opportunity to gain skills in banking and building relationships locally and nationally. Diversity is something we celebrate. As part of creating an inclusive space we have an expenses policy that prioritises volunteers not being out of pocket for expenses linked to your role. Why we want you: Collections raise lots of money for us across the country and we need organised and enthusiastic individuals in our local communities to support us with this- Tasks: Contacting venues to organise collections, with the support of your manager

Managing the buckets and other materials for collections

On the day coordinating our amazing bucket shakers

Talking to public about our work

Counting cash and banking the money you raise at the collection- Skills: Enthusiasm

An interest in meeting people from a wide variety of backgrounds

Experience with organising groups of people
- or someone eager to gain these skills

Happy to travel in their local area to collection sites

Ability to follow guidance for banking

Interested in organising groups of people
