Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom The Scar Free Foundation Full time £12,000 - £36,000 per year

Fundraising Coordinator (Part Time)

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and well-organised Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery of our growing fundraising programme. Working closely with an experienced and successful Head of Fundraising, you'll help generate income from trusts and foundations, corporates, community fundraising, and individual supporters. Administration and prospect research will form a key part of your day-to-day work, helping to ensure our fundraising activity is well-planned, evidence-based, and effectively delivered. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, managing detail, and contributing creative ideas within a small, ambitious team. You'll gain broad experience across multiple income streams and develop your skills under a mentoring and coaching manager – an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their fundraising career, or for an experienced fundraiser seeking varied, meaningful work within part-time hours.

£12,000 per annum (pro rata, equivalent to £30,000 full time)

  • Coordinate community and challenge events, providing excellent supporter care throughout.
  • Support corporate engagement by maintaining relationships with existing partners and helping to identify and develop new opportunities.

  • Produce timely, high-quality reports and thank-you communications for donors and funders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in Raiser's Edge, monitoring deadlines and ensuring data integrity.

  • Confident using digital tools and keen to learn new systems (CRM, online giving platforms, etc.).
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced organisation with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
