We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough for a Multi Skilled Business Tutor to become a key member of our Study Skills department.
Due to a growth in online teaching, we are seeking a confident and motivated tutor that can help and support learners to develop their Business qualification along with supporting with English and Maths. Alongside this role offer 1 to 1 tutorial support and be a support Mentors to our young people.

You will work with lecturers to raise the learning and attainment of young people, while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. You will get the opportunity to support students in the Business vocational areas of the college and ensure all students are provided with the most appropriate level of support to assist them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential.

You will need to be able to use your own initiative while support of learners, dealing with situations with tact and empathy. The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative. You will need to be qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally have experience of working with people with SEND.

This opportunity would suit either experienced lecturers or graduates with a willingness to undertake the appropriate development.
