We are looking for a teaching Assistants to work in a Primary Special Needs School in Southampton. This will be a permanent role to either start ASAP or in September.
You will enable academic progress for pupils in a classroom environment and provide the support they need to feel happy, secure and comfortable whilst pushing them to succeed and excel expectations. You will work with pupils who require additional support,working with them to manage their behaviour as well as ensuring that they successfully achieve the desired outcomes of the day. The role will be varied, also providing support on a 1:1 and small group basis; ensuring that all pupils are meeting curriculumstandards.
The class are reported to have low need, and would benefit from someone friendly and energetic, someone the children can relate to and build a happy relationship with.
The school requires staff who have previous experience of providing this support but often find that previous Nursery Nurses, those with Degrees in education Studies and Previous care assistants get on well in these roles. Give us a call to see if your experiencewould work.
**The Role:
Applicants will be working in a classroom supporting assistants and fellow support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with pupils.
The role will operate between 8:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday.
Full time is preferred but part time applicants may still apply.
Salary will be discussed during the interview process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
