SEN Teaching Assistant
Location – Millbrook, Southampton
Start date – January 2026
Contract – Full Time
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Help plan and deliver personalised learning activities
* Build positive, trusting relationships and promote pupils’ emotional well-being
* Use nurturing, proactive strategies to support positive behaviour
* Work closely with teachers, families, and the wider school team
What We’re Looking For:
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping children thrive
* Experience working with SEN pupils (helpful but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
