HR Consultant/employee Relations Specialist

Redwing Solutions was founded in 2004. We are the UK’s leading HR Consultancy specialising in HR for Day Nurseries, Pre-schools and Out of School Clubs. We were shortlisted by Personnel Today for the HR Consultancy of the Year award in 2020. Due to continued growth, we now seek a full time HR Consultant to join the Redwing Team.

We are based in the town of Redditch in Worcestershire and the role will be office based.

Imagine stressing over an employment matter, and then realising that there is a team of dedicated HR professionals in Redditch that will support you, hold your hand (albeit virtually) and advise you on what you need to do and when.

Let’s get down to the ‘nitty gritty’ of what the role involves on a daily basis:

- Supporting our clients with sometimes complex disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
- Production of letters, forms, templates, structures, processes, procedures to support the client with their HR and employment law needs.
- Case management in a planned, organised and systematic way, ensuring the advice we give is accurate and best serves the client.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records of client interactions on MS Sharepoint and the CRM.
- Designing and delivering useful, practical HR and employment law presentations to communicate requirements with our clients and prospects.
- Writing blogs and articles for newsletters on employment law topics.
- Attending conferences, trade fairs, expos to represent and promote the Company.

We think this role might particularly suit a HR Professional who has significant experience in handling a high volume of employee relations (ER) cases within a stand-alone
- in house HR Support role or as part of a shared services HR helpdesk.
- Ideally 10 years’ experience working in a role where you were advising managers, business partners on employment law and complex employee relations issues with a detailed understanding of the procedures involved.
- You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified, ideally CIPD Level 7 or UK Employment Law qualification.
- Be confident with your ability to identify practical, commercial solutions to our clients’ queries. You will understand small businesses and the pressures they face as employers.
- Possess a thorough understanding of employment law and be able to explain law and case law to our clients in a way that makes sense even if you are not from the HR world.
- Be a team player, someone who enjoys working as part of a HR team.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, numerate and customer orientated.
- Be comfortable working independently and using initiative to make decisions.

Salary up to £38532 per annum.

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,500.00 per year
