This is an exciting new position at James Hargreaves Plumbing Supplies. England's largest leading Independent Plumbers Merchants requires a Branch Assistant to work at two branches, Stevenage & Hertford. An ideal location for the applicant to reside would be between Herford & Stevenage in order to provide cover for both branches.

- The successful applicant will be working as part of a small dynamic team. We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, who are flexible and willing to experience and learn different aspects of the business within the branch.

You will provide cover for holidays & sickness, normal week would be 3 days 2 days at a branch then opposite the following week.No two days will be the same if you are an individual that likes to have a flexible job working at different locations then this is the position for you. This is a totally new role and will change with the business requirements.

After initial training the main duties will be driving a van making local deliveries, picking orders for collections & deliveries. Working on the trade counter serving the general public and trades people. General Warehouse duties including goods inwards & stock checks. With experience gained you will be doing quotes as well as serving in the showroom. Both branches have a small dynamic team of 3 people consisting of the Branch manager, Assistant Branch Manager & a Branch Assistant.

Pay: £27,237.00 per year
