An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here in **Jewson's, Hertford**. We will provide you with all the training needed for this position, so what you lack in experience you need to make up for in enthusiasm, reliabilityand a can do attitude. Because it's a busy branch, it offers a good level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix, working on the sales counter, assisting throughout the warehouse and operating an FLT in the Yard. Whatever your background, if you can demonstrate a consistent employment track record and have a "can do" attitude, we'd be interested in hearing from you. **What will I be doing in this role?** The Customer Service Assistant - Yard role is a key position within this branch, from dealing with customer enquiries, working on the trade counter, managing the stock levels and ordering essential items, unloading deliveries right through to stacking shelves. Key day to day duties include: - Checking customer details on out system - Printing delivery notes / checking orders - Serving customers - Stock replenishment - General Yard duties **What skills are we looking for?** - Reliable - Previous outdoor working experience would be beneficial (But certainly not essential) - Hardworking - Friendly communication - Team player - FLT experience would be advantageous for this role **Are Jewson and Saint-Gobain an Inclusive employer?** Our Customers are all unique and so are our colleagues.
