A Lloyd's market insurance business in the city of London is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor on a 12-month basis, with the contract having the possibility of becoming permanent.
Day to day responsibilities within this role will include:

- Supporting the Head of Internal Audit in the preparation and maintenance of annual audit plan.
- Manage the delivery of internal audit assignments across a broad range of activities, ensuring the quality of working papers and audit standards are maintained.
- Present audit findings and outputs with key stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements to audit practices and be aware of audit developments, trends and best practices, in particular within the insurance industry.
- Liaise with and monitor business unit efforts to resolve identified audit issues and assess the effectiveness of remediation.
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and works closely with other assurance functions.
- Promote the function and the importance of internal control with stakeholders.
- Maintain an effective relationship with the Internal Audit team based in Chicago.
- Deputize on behalf of the Head of Internal Audit where required.
- Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance.
