**Administrator - Isle of Grain, Kent.**

Our team is known for its extensive in-house expertise and continual drive to innovate within the industry. The Administrator will support the project through the provision of high quality general administrative support.
Following the ‘One Murphy’ approach, we’re able to deliver all aspects of the projects we work on. J. Murphy & Sons has designed, constructed, and commissioned projects for clients including National Grid, Cadent Gas, OPA, SGN, National Grid Ventures, on both transmission and distribution networks. Our projects include Compressor stations, Natural Gas and LNG Terminals, AGI’s, pipelines and diversions.
**What will you be doing**:
- Ensure that the Reception area is constantly maintained to a high standard of order, presentable always.
- Ensure a professional image is always maintained with relevant Company literature on display to promote the Group.
- Manage that the reception area is always covered and never left unmanned.
- Ensure all telephone calls, both internal and external, are answered and dealt with efficiently and promptly and messages are taken and relayed when appropriate.
- Ensure all visitors sign in and out to maintain accurate records at all times of visitors in the business. Welcome all visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the relevant person is informed, in a timely manner, of their visitor on arrival.
- Resolve internal and external customer enquiries, referring those that you are unable to resolve to the correct recipient.
- Order and maintain stationery and equipment supplies, as required.
- Ensure meeting room booking requests are actioned and the meeting room diary / calendar is kept up to date.
- Timely preparation of meeting rooms to ensure they are tidy and set up (excluding IT equipment), ready for meetings. Clear up (excluding IT equipment) meeting rooms after use in a timely manner, ready for the next meeting.
- Organise refreshment for meetings as and when required.
- Sign for all deliveries, other than those for the IT department, and either distribute as appropriate or inform the relevant individual or department of the delivery.
- Deal with all requests regarding hotel and accommodations queries in a timely and effective manner.
**Who we're looking for**:
- Successful experience of working in a Reception / General administration support role and/or in a customer services environment.
- Knowledge of operating office equipment and IT, e.g., telephone, computer with standard software, copier, printers etc., to access, input and verify information.
- Experience within the construction industry is desirable, but not essential.
