**Hours**: 37 hours per week.

**MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB**
The focus of this role is on preventing domestic abuse by providing support, advice and assistance to adults in the community who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
To provide safety planning, support, advice, and assistance to adults in the community supporting them to keep safe in and maintain their current or new accommodation.
The post-holder will work to empower and support all victims and survivors of domestic abuse to make positive choices.
On a rota basis work closely with partner agencies to deliver daily High-Risk Domestic Abuse (HRDA) meetings to consider/manage high risk domestic abuse incidents
To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis.
**Workers should be “free from abuse in their own lives.” Applicants are asked not to put themselves forward for selection if this is not the case.**
**A driving licence and car is essential for this role.**
**We particularly welcome applicants from BAMER communities that are currently under-represented in our organisation. Appointment will be on merit alone.**
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) disclosure will be required for this role.
