**MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB**

Stop Domestic Abuse has been delivering Up2U Programmes developed by Portsmouth City Council since 2016. This post will manage two of our exciting projects which aim to prevent the cycle of abuse, develop healthier relationships and provide significant additional support for victims and survivors to remain safely in their home. Provision will also include support for abusive partners by the way of behaviour change interventions and key work support. This will be achieved by delivering Up2U: My Choice within a refuge or community setting to victims and survivors of domestic abuse with complex and multiple needs who, through their own experience of abuse, display unhealthy relationship attitudes and behaviours. And, Up2U: Creating Healthy Relationships which is an innovative behaviour change programme for people who use domestically abusive behaviours in their intimate partner relationships.

***To provide support to the Service Manager in managing all aspects of Stop Domestic Abuse’s Up2U delivery including liaison with sub-contractors/partners, completion of monitoring and evaluation and identification of unmet/additional needs of clients.

To provide support to develop and maintain a high-quality professional service to victims/survivors, those using abusive behaviours and their partners.

To manage services that provide support, advice and assistance to women and men who have experienced domestic abuse and are using Up2U services.

To manage services that provide support, advice and assistance to adults and their children affected by domestic abuse to ensure their feel safer within their accommodation.

To support the Service Manager with the set-up, development and operational management of all aspects of Up2U delivery

The role involves being a member of the Stop Domestic Abuse operational management team.

The post-holder will work to empower and support those who use unhealthy/abusive behaviours to make positive changes.

To support the development of Up2U services to a high standard across Southeast Hampshire and Portsmouth working with the Police Crime Commissioner, Hampshire Constabulary, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council, Health and other domestic abuse providers to ensure men and women are able to access the Up2U service.

To recruit, induct, supervise, lead, and develop staff within policy and quality standards.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours service on a rota basis.

This postholder will provide a high-quality intensive frontline service to victims to maintain their safe accommodation. You will work collaboratively with victims/survivors to identify and address their needs utilising individualised support and safety plans allowing them to safely remain in their homes.

It is essential that the post holder has a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes as these roles cover multiple sites.
