**About the Role**

Our Grounds Person would be required to work both independently and alongside the gardens team in all areas around Rudding Park Hotel, Holiday Park and the wider estate. Work would include hedge cutting, grass cutting, seeding and laying turf, strimming, weeding, pruning, irrigation, some landscaping and other maintenance work as required.

- Happy to work in all weather conditions
- High standards of work
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with other team members and guests
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and a ‘can do attitude’
- Experience with machinery such as hand mowers, ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmer’s, chainsaws, tractors and similar machinery would be an advantage
- Experience with turf and/or landscaping
- Pa1 and Pa6 certificates desirable
- Full, clean driving license essential
- An interest in plants and how to look after them.
