We’re looking for a Horticultural Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Horticultural Team in our horticultural nursery in Harrogate.
**Our service**
Our Horticultural Team are responsible for the maintenance of all the plants which get planted within our parks and gardens across the area to ensure the spaces are well maintained and attractive for both residents and visitors alike.
**The role**
As our Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to undertake a wide range of horticultural maintenance tasks and duties including growing and planting of flowers, pruning of shrubs and rose beds as well as the use of machinery.
**What you will bring**
To be successful you will have experience in:
- Working within horticultural setting for grounds and maintenance.
- Knowledge of plants and how they are grown and looked after
- The use of machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work
- Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard
As the role covers the district you will require a full driving licence.
