What We’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with a strong background in copywriting and a passion for SEO. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content that drives brand awareness, engages audiences, and converts leads.

Job Purpose:
The Senior Copywriter will play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s content strategy. You will ensure all content produced not only resonates with our target audiences, but also aligns with Qdos’ overarching goals and brand voice

Key Responsibilities:

- Consistency: Ensure all content is on-brand, aligns with company values, and supports business goals. Collaborate with teams to maintain a consistent tone and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Product expertise: Write clear, concise, and accurate content related to the Qdos product suite, ensuring content is in line with industry standards and regulations while still being accessible to diverse audiences.
- SEO support: Ensure all digital content is optimised for search engines supporting growth and reach.
- Social media: Collaborate with the digital marketing executive on compelling and engaging content in support of social media strategy and objectives.
- Content performance analysis: Track content performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work cross-departmentally to ensure Qdos maintains its thought leadership position on key tax and insurance topics.
- Content calendar management: Help manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all projects while keeping track of deadlines

Skills and Experience Specification

Essential:

- Demonstrated ability to write persuasive, concise, and engaging content for a B2B or B2C audience.
- Ability to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into simple, readable and relatable content.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), preferably Sitecore.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO tools (such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs), and keyword research tools.
- Excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable:

- A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience with paid media copywriting
- Experience as a Copywriter in the financial services industry or similar regulated sectors
