We’re on the lookout for a Category Marketing Lead to join our Global Brand team and help lead the growth for our biggest category in the business.
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing UK tech start-ups and shape how we grow our business to the next level of success. You will partner with the Global Head of Brand to create and deliver the breastfeeding brand strategy, defining the category vision and commercial direction for the business. You will lead the delivery of world class brand and product marketing campaigns, devise channel strategies to grow D2C and identify gaps and opportunities to grow the breastfeeding category and keep competitors afar. You will be excellent at building relationships and be required to work closely with the product, consumer research, market and channel teams to accelerate the agenda for growth.
Experience in brand building and commercial delivery, this role will analyse market trends and the competitor landscape to build the 3 year roadmap whilst with an eye on brand to lead the development of outstanding Global ‘Go-To-Market’ playbooks rooted in strategy and consumer insight encompassing Paid, Owned and Earned strategies.
You will partner with local market teams on channel strategies positioning Direct as a brand and ecommerce destination as well as items such as media planning to ensure the category hits its target and onboard learnings for future activities.

**What you’ll be doing at Elvie**:
- Lead the category vision and Go-To-Market commercial development of the breastfeeding category with Global KPIs that ladder into local market territory targets.
- Support the Global Head of Brand on annual brand planning and key initiatives to generate double digit growth, partnering with Finance on budget planning.
- Define the communication proposition and channel strategy to create Global playbooks for new product launches that align with business goals and strategic positioning.
- Lead market trends and monitor competitor strategies to identify commercial opportunities for future product development and marketing communication opportunities
- Partner with markets on individual business cases or marketing activation opportunities to develop clear scope, targets and alignment with the category vision before approval with Head of Brand
- Lead the brand marketing gate process ensuring that brand marketing delivers projects within the agreed timelines.
- Own the development of the breastfeeding global category calendar, in partnership with the Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager and channel specialists.
- Partner with the Global Head of Insights and local markets to gain insights and input into global briefs and plans.
- Be the brand guardian to build our brand and awareness of Elvie pump across all markets, offering counsel and governance to our local market teams
- Coach a team of two with direct line management of a Senior Brand Manager
