**CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR - SWINDON**

Our client is an approved **DAF Truck dealership** located in **Swindon** and are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable **Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor**. As their new Service Advisor, you will join their friendly team which will see you **working Monday - Friday 08:00am - 5:30pm & every other Saturday paid as overtime 07.00am - 12.00pm** which equates to 45 hours per week.

As a Service Advisor they will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

- Desire to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Good understanding of Motor Trade or interest in the motor trade
- High level of customer service

**Main duties will be**:
As Service Advisor position within the department this role will be responsible for supporting the formulation and execution of the Customer Service, Communication, Promotion, and Sales Growth strategy and significantly driving forward the sold/billed hours growth, utilisation growth and financial performance of the function.

The role demands a perpetual review of current approaches and practices, actively exploring new and alternative initiatives with a primary focus on delivering outstanding customer service and performance KPI’s

Motivational approach and the ability to influence the key stakeholders within the function is a critical part of this role as is the ability to demonstrably deliver excellent customer service and administration performance.
- To manage and lead the customer service advisor and operations.
- Service forward planning, booking, follow up and control - optimising utilisation.
- Working closely with the Workshop Controller ensure work is booked and completed within agreed timelines and achieve satisfactory output per person/hour and best utilisation of workshop staff hours.
- Effective communication with customers in relation job booking, progress, additional costs and completion and final authorisation and order numbers. Support the administration team and cover for the ATF Advisor.
- Effective administration including customer service records, compliance, reporting and invoicing.
- Ensure all the necessary and relevant information is on the job card and services sheets on the completion of jobs and they are legible for costing.
- Monitor and ensure quality and other customer service objectives are being carried out by the workshop team.
- Maintain good customer relations and deal constructively with all matters including complaints within the areas of your authority and responsibility.
- Ensuring the work environment including facilities are representative of the Brand.
- In conjunction with the Customer Service Team, Workshop Controller and Supervisors to ensure the yard is kept to a high standard via periodic inspections and parking of vehicles is to a standard to minimise any safety risk and damage to vehicles.
- Ensure all internal controls and polices/procedures including courtesy vehicle management, visitor supervision
