Fibaform has been manufacturing quality glassfibre products for over 40 years. We supply GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) gatehouses, cabinets, kiosks and enclosures to customers operating in almost every industry across the UK.

We are looking to add a Management Accountant to our team based on Lansil Industrial Estate in Lancaster.

Reporting to the Directors, the main purpose of the role will be to manage the provision, development and analysis of key management and financial information. In addition, the role will be required to establish and maintain financial policies and managementinformation systems providing a high-quality support service in liaison with management colleagues on all aspects of finance.

**Management Accountant Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review, present and analyse periodic financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheet accounts, cash flow statements, budgets, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Oversee the preparation of an annual budget and assist the Financial Director.
- Establish and develop relationships with Fibaforms’ key customers in fulfilling all contractual reporting requirements and providing a dynamic (key point of contact) response to all queries and requests for additional information.
- Assist management in the day-to-day running of their individual operations, where appropriate, will be required and the provision of financial insight and intelligent, informed advice in cost control and profit maximization, to non-financial managers.
- Liaise productively with all other external stakeholders including the Environment Agency, the Inland Revenue, consultants, financiers, and solicitors where required.
- Provide finance management cover/support for other accounting personnel as required
- Applicants will have or be working towards a high-level professional accounting qualification and possess extensive technical knowledge.
- Previous management accounting experience is essential.
- Demonstrable commercial and business awareness.
- You will be required to have advanced skills in spreadsheet design and construction and a comprehensive understanding of double-entry book-keeping.
- Strong database enquiry and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal direction.
- Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving proficiency.
