**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen within the Conversion Department for an Operator. The role of Operator is pivotal in Coveris Hartlepool meeting the standards and specifications required by our customer base. Ensuring product quality is always maintained and meets operational requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Work within the safe systems of work and standards working practices.
- Report any concern or possible improvements relating to Conversion to the Team Leader.
- Maintain product quality to the required operational standards ensuring the Conversion Quality Procedures are always followed.
- Samples to be checked against all pass samples and all relevant documentation completed.
- Ensure all pallets meet the requirements of the packaging specification and that associated documentation is completed correctly.
- Participate in process troubleshooting and help to determine root causes.
- Follow reject procedures ensuring that any rejects are reported through the appropriate systems.
- Maintain run speeds in line with operational requirements. Any issues which result in low run speeds should be reported to the Team Leader.
- Complete Production quality check sheets and Shoplogix correctly to ensure that production data is measured and can be relayed to other departments.
- Report any breakdowns to the engineering department in a timely manner.
- Carry out regular quality checks in line with operational procedures.

**Salary**: £11.90-£12.14 per hour
