Cycle Co-ordinator

**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Work Management at Hartlepool for a new Cycle Coordinator. This is a highly responsible, operationally focussed role that requires strong organisational management qualities and a technical aptitude in order to prepare the work-week plans, maintain compliance and reduce operational risks. This role provides a development opportunity to broaden your skills and experience, focusing on stakeholder management, leadership and relationship management across the station.

**Pay, benefits and culture**

The salary range is between £40,069 - £71,779, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for this appointment will be dependent of your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. You will receive 28 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, incremental and competency-based progression and a defined contributions pensions scheme.

**What you’ll be doing**
- To act as a nuclear professional at all times and have a nuclear safety focus in all activities and responsibilities undertaken.
- Use operational experience (OE) e.g., OE information is used in preparation for all plant-based activities as required in line with the stations corrective action programme.
- Schedule work to ensure that all activities support safe and reliable operation of the plant and maintain full compliance within agreed safety and environmental standards and expectations, while working closely with Operations to understand plant release limitations to ensure planned work can be successfully isolated and the work completed.
- Utilise System Aligned Work Week Windows to facilitate efficient maintenance and repair of plant and Equipment.
- Identify optimisation opportunities and align major projects where possible, within the appropriate SAWW.
- Liaise with Outage Management Group to align, Statutory and other planned short duration outages within the work week cycle plan to ensure compliance is maintained at all times.
- Liaise with Fuel Route and Nuclear Safety Group to support refuelling planning.
- Take ownership of Work Week plans through the E- process to E-7 when they are given to the Work Week Manager. Ensure the plans are fit for purpose and all parties involved in the delivery of the plans sign up to achievement of the plan.
- Prepare and manage Significant Work Packs to ensure resources, contracts, materials and plant release are aligned.
- To be fully trained and conversant as a back-up Compliance Coordinator with a focus to support PSSR compliance.
- To work closely with the Short Cycle process to increase organisational efficiencies with defect planning and resolution.

The Cycle Coordinator works as part of the Work Management team, where they will work closely with the Cycle Planners and other to prepare the planned workweeks, so strong team working skills are essential for this role.

Relevant experience in a Maintenance, Engineering or Operational background would be beneficial, and good knowledge of compliance management is preferred.
