Job Introduction We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious Digital Media and Communications Specialist. Your role will enable us to celebrate the success of our people and positively impact the lives of the children we look after.

As our Digital Media and Communications Specialist, you will work with a range of teams to design and manage a variety of Digital Media and Communications projects. The role is the first appointment towards creating a wider in-house marketing function at AWW, therefore you definitely put your stamp on the role.

- Your salary is up to £28,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
- Your hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday,

**The role that you'll fulfil with us,**
- Working closely with our Recruitment team, you will produce graphics, blogs, and high-impact social media content that highlight everything that is unique about working at Wilderness.
- You will manage and oversee activity on our social media platforms.
- You will design and implement a social media content calendar that offers a consistent and inclusive message and promotes our Company ethos.
- You will analyse key statistics and report on marketing outcomes to support future growth and marketing campaigns.
- You will work closely with our Training Academy to produce video content that supports our in-house training teams.
- Our outdoor education and care operations teams will invite you to shoot and film a range of activities and outcomes with our children and teams, therefore an excellent standard of technical skills are required to produce a high standard of multimedia content.
- Our Employee Experience Manager will liaise closely with you to gather relevant content for our newsletters and monthly ‘Wilderness Heroes’ awards.
- Our head office is based in Penrith; however, you can work on a home based / hybrid basis. Essentially, you will be required to travel throughout Cumbria, and occasionally to North-East England and Southern Scotland.

**Essential qualities that we look for,**
- A degree in Digital Media and Communications (or equivalent)
- Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ industry experience.
- A proven track record in the design, creation, and deployment of digital marketing campaigns.
- A high standard of graphic design, photography, and video production skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite or equivalent.
- An excellent eye for detail and written communication skills
- Knowledge of PPC, Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and other social advertising platforms.
- A motivated and focussed self-starter who enjoys taking ownership over projects, managing tight deadlines, and achieving good results.
- A good understanding of GDPR in relation to marketing and social media.
- Passionate about continual personal development and trying new things.
- A full, valid, UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
