Location: Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove Healthcare Innovations (BHI) Limited currently has a vacancy for a Site Caretaker/Facilitator to join its Facilities Management (FM) team. The Site Caretaker/Facilitator will be required to carry out routine duties, pre
- planned maintenance, some repairs and other specific facilities related works. Key areas of this role will be to focus on decorating and site grounds maintenance, so experience in these areas would be particularly advantageous.

The BHI Site Caretaker/Facilitator will report to the Facilities Manager. Teamwork will be vital as will the ability to communicate well. The BHI FM team provide FM services between the hours of 6.00 am until 7.00 pm Monday to Friday and therefore the role requires flexibility to be able to work mornings, afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekend work and also to cover annual leave and sick leave of other members of the FM team as required.

**Core Competencies required**:

- Proven building maintenance experience
- Organisational skills
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Excellent time keeping
- Professional presentation and attitude

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Experience in performing routine maintenance tasks
- Experience in decorating
- Experience in grounds maintenance
- A trade qualification, although not essential
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH
- Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word, excel etc
- Skilled in using hand and power tools

Pay: £11.44-£12.10 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bromsgrove: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- painting & decorating: 1 year (preferred)
- grounds maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
