**Aufgaben**:

- Prepare Temporary Works Design Briefs ensuring actual site conditions are adequately captured
- Ensure design deliverables are coordinated in a timely manner to suit programme with in-house design or supplier/subcontractors
- Ensure the document/design control process is maintainedEnsure preparation and review of all relevant documentation templates and processes
- Produce and maintain a Temporary Works register
- Ensure permanent works acting in a temporary condition or supporting temporary loads are classed as Temporary Works and added to the Temporary Works register
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external designers to ensure design deliverables are submitted on time
- Liaise with document control to ensure that all design documents are uploaded on the document control platforms and distributed to the relevant reviewing parties
- Identify and manage key technical aspects within each design, as directed by the Temporary Works Design Manager
- Review temporary works designs for sufficiency
- Categorise design checks required for each temporary works item and ensure these are carried out
- Review risks identified by permanent works designer and consider these in the design briefs
- Ensure that those responsible for on-site supervision receive full details of the design and are taken into account on specific method statements
- Ensure site proposed changes are checked against original design and appropriate action taken
- Report on a regular basis on the status of designs in your area, focusing on programme in particular.
- Work with Temporary Works Supervisors to ensure adequate maintenance is carried out, permits to load/unload are issued and safe systems of work are implemented
- Support preparation of the Health and safety file

**Qualifikationen**:

- Experience on a fast-moving project, multiple interfaces and working within a technical delivery team (essential)
- Proactive attitude (essential)
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer in Civil/ Structural engineering or Oil and Gas will also be considered
- Experience managing a temporary works process (preferred)
- Previous experience in Temporary Works design or Civil/Structural design (circa 4 years’ experience or more, preferred, but not essential).
- Previous experience in Temporary Works design or Civil/Structural design (circa 4 years’ experience or more, preferred, but not essential)
- Experience with Bentley Assetwise, Bentley Projectwise, EMT (preferred)
- Membership of relevant professional body (CEng MICE or CEng IStructE, preferred)
