**Children’s Night Residential Care Worker**

To provide support to young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and complex needs.

**Hours**

Full and part time hours available. Minimum 16 hours per week.

**Salary**

**Starting salary potential £22,563 per annum**

£22,563 (£21,255 annual salary) + (1,308 enhancement for 40 weekend hours per month).
- _Figures based on base salary of £21,255 per annum, working full time (37.5 hours per week) and 25% hourly enhanced pay for weekend shift._
- Annual salary increments._
- 27 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years plus bank holidays._

**About the role**

As a Night Care Worker, you will be attending to the needs of the adults/ children during the night some may have additional needs, domestic duties and appropriate record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulation. Another member of staff will sleep in the unit and can be disturbed if there is an emergency.

To respect and promote the needs of each child, young person and adult arising from their racial, cultural, and religious background.

To maintain appropriate records on the child, young person and adult and ensure that information is passed onto other members of the team.

To administer medication and simple medical procedures for the young people as appropriate, and a willingness to undertake training if required
