Working within our forward-thinking Water Treatment department, you’ll work at our water treatment works pilot plant, on a 12-month fixed term contract. It’s a great opportunity to be part of our operational team, striving for goal zero from a safety perspective whilst continuously improving site standards. In your role you will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity, work with innovative technologies and learn new skills outside of your ‘day job’. We are encouraged to find new ways of working, supporting us and our colleagues in fixing things for customers before they go wrong. **LET'S TELL YOU MORE**:
Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

- Operate water treatment works (WTW), raw water intake (RWI) and associated assets.
- Maintain & improve site standards/ identify Health and Safety improvements.
- Operate the assets under your control to ensure that all quality and quantity limits are met.
- Participate in an out of hours standby rota
- Ensure the Health & Safety of yourself, colleagues, visitors and members of the public is maintained at all times
- Ensure sites are operated at a minimum cost in an energy efficient way.
- Comply with statutory, company policies and procedures.
- Operate the assets under your control to ensure that there is no adverse impact on the environment.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
Having experience in Working in a mechanical / electrical environment would be advantageous and working with chemical processes would be beneficial. A full valid UK driving licence would be required for the role.
