To further scale our growing UK business, we are looking for a **Commercial Data Manager** to join our BI team, reporting to the Finance & BI Director.

**About the Data Manager role**:
As our **Data Manager, **you will look after our Commercial team (currently 4 analysts). You will be responsible for ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of all external reporting and for developing visualisation dashboards for our internalteams. This role is best suited for someone who has extensive experience working with data, managing teams and has excellent communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities of our Data Manager**:

- Manage the BI Commercial Team (currently 4 FTE) including direct line management of 3
- Ensure your team delivers timely and high-quality external reporting
- Design and develop commercially sound internal visualisation dashboards for our internal teams to use
- Responsible for request management, hiring and process development
- Where necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the detail
- Use Python, SQL and Google’s BigQuery environment
- You are the contact person for your area of responsibility and support the different departments in making evidence-based decisions by developing and validating hypotheses

- You will have strong experience as a data analyst in a growth-oriented scale-up.
- Experience in line management and mentoring of a passionate team of individuals
- Project management, ideally in a technical setting.
- You have experience with current visualisation tools (e.g. Google Data Studio) and in the best case experience with programming languages (e.g. Python). Knowledge of Google Bigquery is a plus
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the wider team to identify trends and use data to improve business performance.
