The role is within the cross functional Data Services business unit, delivering industry-leading data products and services into the property industry. Our team has a diverse client base ranging from property investment firms, to Build-to-Rent providersand property developers, to surveying business, to some of the largest financial institutions in Europe. We supply these customers with a suite of products covering, for example, property valuations, demand analysis, risk analysis, land development and portfoliomanagement. Our products leverage our market leading property database and, as one of the Top 10 busiest websites in the UK with over 1.5 billion page views per month, our proprietary consumer demand insight.
We are at an exciting stage in the growth of the Data Services business with a customer base that is growing quickly. We are looking for an Account Manager to work with the Commercial Manager, other Account Managers and the London-based data team to helpgrow existing key customer relationships and develop new business opportunities with large property-related businesses and financial institutions
Location: Remote
**Salary**: £40K base, £55K OTE
A typical week as an Account Manager might involve
- Generating and converting new business opportunities through dedicated prospecting and cold calling
- Day to day support to customers providing training, service level reviews, business reviews, market insights etc.
- Identifying new customer opportunities within the industry verticals we currently work in
- Keeping up to date with market conditions/regulations, to support customers and develop Data Services strategies
- Working closely with the Data Services Product Development, Statistics and Customer Experience teams to support the development and delivery of products that meet our customers’ needs
- Interacting with teams across our business to support overall business objectives
- Maintaining a great environment for our overall team to work in, enabling your colleagues to achieve business goals, develop their skill sets and progress their careers
- Collaborating within a commercial team that works together to achieve team goals
- Working with the Data Service team on projects to support broader business objectives
- Developing and executing commercial plans
- Completing contract renewals, working with stakeholders and procurement managers
- Building relationships with existing customers, identifying business needs and driving revenue growth
We’re looking for someone who
- A passion for property and data
- Experience in a property related field (Investment, Build-To-Rent), ideally in a consultative/sales capacity
- Strong relationship building skills across all levels of an organisation up to boardroom level
- Ability to adopt a consultative approach to match our products and services to our customers’ needs
- Proven track record in sales, successfully increasing revenue and market share
- Strong analytical skills and a love of numbers, statistics, data and innovation
- Meticulous analytical and planning skills; a competent user of Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience working in a multi-product environment
- Excellent influencing skills, able to drive results and engage with internal/external teams to achieve objectives
- Desire to take the initiative and make things happen, enjoying finding the solution to a problem
- Commitment to results both personally and for the team, always looking to support their colleagues
- Structured approach to take a customer need from concept to deliverable
- Self-motivated and driven by success
- Basic knowledge and understanding of B2B contracts and contract negotiations
- Experience dealing with the procurement functions of large corporate clients

- Domain knowledge of property lending, property development or data led products
- Experience of selling data led products
- Knowledge of property valuation
