Assistant Management Accountant

An Assistant Management Accountant is required to work for a Hospitality business in Central London (hybrid-3 days office) on a permanent basis. Business is expanding significantly and have huge growth plans over the next few years, this is an opportunityfor an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to progress quickly in their finance career.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working in a team of 3 where there will be lots of room for progression in the longer term in this small Finance team. You will take ownership for the transactional accounting and month end duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Enter all supplier invoices and credit notes onto the system in timely and accurate manner, with appropriate descriptions and to the correct cost code using Dext (AI system)
- Maintain supplier records on the system as well as regular supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensure all supplier invoices are approved and process the weekly supplier payment run
- Raising of Sales Invoices
- Daily bank reconciliations across 4 GBP bank accounts on Xero
- Manage the Credit Control whilst liaising with customers and answering queries
- Reviewing the aged Debtors report with Financial Controller and CFO
- Assist with month end duties such as accruals, prepayments, general journal postings and payroll admin duties
- Adhoc duties
