As we expand, we are seeking a motivated Sales Director Assistant to support our Sales Director in achieving business growth and sales targets, with hands-on involvement in key sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create strategies for business expansion.
- Play an active role in cold calling and lead generation to support business growth.
2. Appointment Setting and Sales Process Management:
- Schedule and confirm appointments for the Sales Director and sales team.
- Maintain an organized calendar to maximize the Director’s efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of sales proposals.
- Jump into cold calling to support lead generation as needed.
3. Quotation and Deal Management:
- Take ownership of the quotation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare comprehensive and competitive quotes.
- Follow up on quotes, assist with negotiations, and support closing deals.
- Handle contract signing and documentation for finalized sales.
4. Sales Team Training and Development:
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales staff.
- Provide training and mentorship to the sales team, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet targets.
- Participate in setting sales goals and KPIs, providing support where necessary to meet objectives.
5. Negotiation and Closing Deals:
- Support the Sales Director in client negotiations, ensuring deals align with business objectives.
- Actively contribute to closing deals by managing follow-up communications and ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Sales Administration and Reporting:
- Prepare and manage sales reports, track key metrics, and analyze data to support the Sales Director.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, client communications, and deal progress.
- Assist in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and pitches.
7. Client Relationship Management:
- Accompany the Sales Director on client visits to support relationship-building and deal closure.
- Help maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business.
