Is it time for you to take on a new challenge? Are you an Operations Manager looking to step into a fast-paced and exciting new role? Does empowering teams excite you?

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work any 5 from 7 rotating between days (06:00-14:00) and afternoons (14:00- 22:00). As an Operations Manager, your responsibility will be to look after theoperational requirements and processes of the inbound and outbound stock movements, with a commitment to quality leadership of a team of people

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as acycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Ensure KPIs and performance is achieved and exceeded, as set by the customer
- Positively drive health and safety and a continuous improvement culture throughout the site and ensure that your team is working in a compliant and safe manner
- Effectively allocate work on a daily basis, controlling headcounts, downtimes, and performance management
- Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional, and team information

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- A proven track record of managing large teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment (e-commerce expose would be desirable)
- A team player with the ability to coach, lead and develop a large, diverse team, with a strong bias for action to ensure delivery of both client and GXO goals
- Effective influencer and communicator, with the ability to positively engage and empower others
- General confidence in the use of IT systems
